Let's dive into six faith-stirring lessons we can learn from Nehemiah. Pastor Rick brings to life Nehemiah 1 –3, and, like Nehemiah, prayer is the first step in the leadership journey.

Nehemiah was a government worker in a foreign administration—a high-ranking one, no doubt. A leader. A cupbearer to the King. Trusted and respected. Nehemiah is an excellent example of biblical leadership for us all. He faced an overwhelming task, many obstacles, and naysayers, and accomplished what seemed impossible through prayer, by leaning on God, and getting involved to make a difference.

America is still the freest, and the most prosperous country on earth. But for how long? That's up to us. Ronald Reagan famously stated, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."
