Today we read about Jacob returning to Bethel, Rachel dying during childbirth, and Isaac dying. David writes a Psalm about vindication and evil being judged accordingly. Paul writes about being released from the law and sin through Jesus Christ. He also writes about the law helping Paul understand sin.
