Had to recreate this video as one of the music suppliers changed their mind on their copyright policy. I think I like the new one a bit better. :)

When you are in Victoria British Columbia on Vancouver Island Canada there is a lot to see. There are some great road trips just outside the city and one of the best ones is visiting Cowichan Valley. Cowichan Valley has a lot of activities and sites to see. Some of which include kayaking, visiting wineries, hiking, biking, museums, and good restaurants.

In this video, we do a day trip where we cycle the Cowichan Valley trail which used to be an old railway system now converted to a multi-use trail. There are some huge trestles on this trail one of them is the Kinsel trestle. Completed in 1920, its dimensions measure 44 m (144 ft) high and 188 m (617 ft) long, making it the largest wooden trestle in the Commonwealth of Nations and one of the highest railway trestles in the world.

We then hike to a swing on Old Baldy Mountain. Once you get to the top of the mountain you are rewarded with a 360-degree view of the valley, which is spectacular. The swing was built by a man as an engagement gift to his future wife, on what is their favorite hike to do together. There is a sign by the swing detailing the whole story. If you're a romantic then you must do this hike. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from April until October.
