Exploring Illinois Abandoned John Mackler Projects

There was a total of 17 apartment buildings within, the John Mackler Homes Projects in Chicago Heights, Illinois. These were once called home by many families (most with children). Not entirely sure why or when these were vacated. The city wants to build new homes for whatever reason. That means demolishing these completely.
