The 15th Annual Fest of Tails was held by the San Antonio Parks Foundation at McAllister Park, just north of the San Antonio International Airport on Saturday, March 12th 2022. Thousands of people turned out in the chilly weather to fly kites, bring their dogs or see the dogs, and ride their bicycles to the event.

There were free kites from HEB and other kites you could purchase from vendors. Members of the American Kitefliers Association Region 8 were on hand to instruct people about kite safety and to fly the bigger kites, but unfortunately, the wind wasn't strong enough to keep those big ones in the air for very long.

The Pooch Parade was held around 12:30pm with over a hundred entries... Awards were held afterward for best costumes, best dressed dog, most looks like their owner, and many more categories. That starts about half way thru this video.
