LifeLog, DARPA, Pentagon, and Zuckerberg

#Facebook / #Meta is being sued for their ILLEGAL #FacialRecognition program, so now is a good opportunity to remind everyone of some "coincidences" that happened in 2004.

#Lifelog, a project by the #Pentagon and #DARPA to build a database tracking a person's entire existence, ended in February 2004:

Since scrubbed from DARPA's website... "The goal of the LifeLog is to turn the notebook computers or personal digital assistants used today into much more powerful tools for the warfighter."

In a nutshell, the government wanted to accumulate a massive database of electronic storage records of pretty much every detail of people's online lives in order to help them "organize" their digital storage records better.

Enter Facebook.

Facebook was launched by #Zuckerberg in February 2004; just ONE MONTH after the #Wired article reported the Lifelog project "ended."
Here's a video that ties a lot of it together:

Now, if that wasn't enough... #ReginaDougan who worked with DARPA since 1996 and became the head of the agency from 2009-2012, then went on to work at both #Google AND Facebook.

Still want more? There's an article from February 2022 that reports two senators are claiming the #CIA has been compiling a massive, secret database on U.S. citizens for an extended amount of time.

All coincidences? You be the judge.
