Is It Biblical to Agree to Disagree? *UNPOPULAR OPINION* | Isn't the Holy Spirit our Teacher?

Liberal Christianity has gone TOO far! Are Christians supposed to agree to disagree? What issues can Christians have disagreements about?

A growing frustration of mine in the Christian community is this idea that "we can agree to disagree". While the Bible does allow room for some issues to be disagreed upon, liberal Christianity has taken that to a new extreme to call anything outside of salvation an issue that can be disagreed upon. This standard is very subjective and is a major factor behind the growing number of denominations. As believers, I find it to be fundamentally important to come together just as the early Church did in Acts 15 in order to resolve doctrinal matters that we may all arrive at sound doctrine and be equally equipped to share that doctrine to the world. People do not like my stance on the matter, but if we are all being taught by the same Holy Spirit, how can we arrive at such contradictory conclusions. They breaking point for me was when someone left a comment saying that we can "agree to disagree" whether or not we should refer to God by a name of a pagan deity. You can't consistently say, "we can agree to disagree" and then get upset when I disagree with that statement; however, with my position, I can disagree with you and not find myself in a contradiction. Also, if you are going to double-down in your error in order to protect your traditions, instead of hearing the arguments presented and diligently seek the LORD in prayer, you are showing yourself to be ignorant when we are called to be Bereans. Pride keeps many Christians in error and this statement allows for many heresies to be adopted by believers.
