Tamara Lich has finally returned home to Medicine Hat after leaving over a month ago to lead the Freedom Convoy.

The Canadian folk hero was enthusiastically welcomed home by locals in Medicine Hat on Saturday with flags, tears, hugs, and a community rendition of O Canada.

Tamara Lich was imprisoned by the Trudeau regime following the Prime Minister’s controversial enactment of the Emergency Act.

The Métis woman, 49, inspired a convoy of hundreds of truckers to drive across a continent to Justin Trudeau’s doorstep in protest of COVID-19 mandates, which protesters viewed as a violation of their constitutional rights.

Lich was arrested on February 17th and held on petty charges without bail after a Liberal Party judge denied Lich her basic rights. Superior Court Justice John Johnston released Lich after an appeal was mounted against the Trudeau friendly judge.

“It is not likely Lich would face a lengthy imprisonment,” Johnston said as he released the political prisoner.
