Blogger and activist Raif Badawi was freed on Friday after a decade in a Saudi prison, but questions remain about whether he’ll be able to join his wife and family in Canada.
Badawi was jailed in 2012 and sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of insulting Islam.
Badawi’s sentence drew widespread international condemnation from numerous organizations, governments and advocacy groups. Gloria Henriquez reports.
