Time to answer the door

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 

This is the greatest invitation you will ever receive, it is also one of the greatest promises in the entire Bible.

It is also one of the most rejected invitations humanity has ever pondered, it is simply a question of life or death. your way or Gods way.

This Promise has a very scary element to it and that is it has an expiration date attached to it. One moment it is in effect and then all the sudden without warning it has expired.

Pro 8:17  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. 

The key word to the expiration of this promise is the word early?

To be early is to be on time to grasp the promise, to be late is to have missed it?

Their is a man in the Bible whom the Holy Spirit knocked on the door of his heart for the very last time?

It was still early, the promise was still in effect however it expired that very day, in a few short hours the promise would be void, it would be too late.

He had a choice to make, ask God for eternal life, completely surrender to Him?

Ask Him if the promise was still in effect and if it still applied to Him, he had nothing to lose by asking?

Luk 23:39  And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 
Luk 23:40  But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 
Luk 23:41  And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 
Luk 23:42  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into thy kingdom. 
Luk 23:43  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
