Pushing my Honda Shadow to the Limit
This was the hardest I ever pushed my 04 Honda Shadow 750 Aero. We ran 321 miles to Panama City Beach, Fl for the Thunder Beach Rally. We just stopped for gas station breaks. My RPM's were running so high that my radiator bolt (top) broke off. That bolt holds the top of my hi-way bars to the bike... so now its moving around and my two bolts on the frame start coming loose. Now I didn't realize the bolt had broken and that the bars had rotated forward. When leaving the gas station it seemed like the front shocks were going as my fender kept hitting the bars. Anyway, that's when the clutch cable decided to either stretch or slip just enough to make the bike not want to go into neutral. It wouldn't come out of first until you were rolling again. Once we got to Florida we were able to get it all straightened out. Needless to say I took county roads back...lol!
