Conservative leadership race heats up with more candidates entering

The race for the Conservative Party leadership is intensifying as more politicians enter the fray.

The field is already taking shape, with high-profile figures like Pierre Poilievre, Jean Charest and Leslyn Lewis already in the running.

They are also joined by Ontario MPP Roman Baber, and Brampton Ontario Mayor Patrick Brown— the former Ontario Progressive Conservative leader— is expected to jump in soon as well.
