Brienon and Auxerre in the Duchy of Burgundy

Cadet Rousselle is an iconic song of the old city of Auxerre in the Duchy of Burgundy (as opposed to the Free-County of Burgundy, "Franche-Comté in French", which initially belonged to the Holy Roman-German Empire). The song was composed in 1792 by Gaspard de Chenu.
