Baby Survives Standoff That Left 5 Cops Shot

Five police officers have been hospitalized after being shot during a standoff at a Phoenix home early Friday morning that involved a baby needing to be brought to safety, authorities said. The officers had been responding to a 911 call at a home where a woman had reportedly been shot. The first cop that arrived at the scene was shot at “multiple times” and was wounded by a suspect, who was barricaded inside the home. Miraculously, the baby was uninjured.
