Jussie Smollett Has Had a Mental Health Meltdown Over the Last 4 Years

Jussie Smollett's mental health is in question after his "i'm not suicidal" outburst in his sentencing hearing where he received a 150 days sentence. Smollett tweeted about his battle with depression prior to his hate crime hoax in 2019. It seems like the pressure of being a star one Empire and his failed music career lead to Mr. Smollett having a melt down. All this is sad and funny.

The Cook County Sheriff's Office in Illinois announced that actor Jussie Smollett will undergo a mental health assessment following his outburst in court Thursday.

"[Smollett] will be given a comprehensive medical, mental health, and security assessment and will be placed in appropriate housing," the department announced Thursday.
