'Typical of the modern left': US TV host Joy Reid claims the world is racist for caring about Ukrain

Institute of Public Affairs’ Evan Mulholland says comments made by MSNBC host Joy Reid are “typical of the modern left,” pitting people against each other “based on race”.
Ms Reid recently claimed the world is paying attention to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine because Ukraine’s population is largely white and Christian.
“We’re seeing the tragic war in Ukraine take away from a lot of distractions that the left are usually obsessed with, a lot of the identity politics,” Mr Mulholland told Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.
“I think these kinds of comments are just petty and people will see right through them and the media games they’re playing.”
