China Warns U.S. Over “Pacific NATO”

China is warning the U.S. against forming a "Pacific NATO" in response to its threats to Taiwan. The US CIA chief warns that Xi Jinping still has designs on Taiwan despite seeing the West's united response to the Ukraine crisis. South Korea elects a new president, who says he wants to move South Korea closer to the U.S. This is another reason China is concerned about an increased US presence in the region.
