Action Alert on HB-2118: Expanded Stand-Your-Ground Law!

Missouri has some of the weakest self-defense laws in the country, which make gun owners prove their innocence in court following a defensive shooting. More, we have virtually zero protections for the threatened use of force or against spurious civil lawsuits in the wake of these shootings!

HB-2118 would fix these issues and give Missourians the same protections that dozens of other states have already done! The bill has passed the Government Oversight Committee and now it’s in the Rules Committee.
