People on average can breathe up to 15 times per minute. Practicing a slower breathe rate of 3 breathes per minute or even 1 breathe per minute gives a powerful sense of calm and mental stability. Retaining the breathe in or out also helps to quiet and focus the mind. Just 10 minutes of this practice can give an effect. With this guided practice you will learn to control your breathe to control your mind and body. Always sit with a straight spine throughout.
