काल घोषित झालेल्या पाच राज्यांच्या निवडणूक निकालाबाबत जलसंपदा मंत्री ना. जयंत पाटील(Jayant Patil) यांनी माध्यमांशी संवाद साधला. शेवटी विजय हा विजयच असतो, त्यामुळे ज्यांचा पराजय झाला त्यांनी काहीही कारणं सांगितली तरी त्याचा फारसा उपयोग नाही. मात्र उत्तर प्रदेशमध्ये(UttarPradesh) जर सर्व विरोधकांनी एकत्र येऊन निवडणूक लढवली असती, तर आजचे हे चित्र कदाचित दिसले नसते, असे मत त्यांनी व्यक्त केले.
