Mosquitoes that were genetically modified by Oxitec, a company funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, are set to be released in parts of California and Florida to combat certain mosquitoes that transmit tropical diseases like Dengue fever, yellow fever and other such diseases. The problem is that there is no record or history of those such viruses being transmitted in America, another problem is the Gates Foundation messing with nature. But muh public health, right?
