It all started with some weight plates from marketplace. They were rusted and in rough shape. After fully restoring them, I was hooked and continued to restore plates and other gym equipment that were sitting in people's basements and garage collecting dust and rust.
From there, I started to customize the plates and found that other people might want to do the same. So I created Plate Snacks; a simple way to add a personal touch to your home gym.
Home gyms have always been a big part of the fitness community, but during the pandemic they have become more popular than ever!
While gyms were forced to close, people began to come up with super creative ways to get their workouts in and make the most of a not so pleasant time not only in the United States, but globally. A lot of people built or are building basement and garage gyms and want to add their own style and personality.
At the end of the day, "weight is weight" and it doesn't matter what your plates look like, but Plate Snacks is another way to add some style and creativity to your workout space because it is YOUR space. With our customized plate designs, you will be able to add a new look to your home gym.
Will these fit my bumper plates?
These are meant to stick on bumper plates that have an 8" diameter inner circle and the center hub of 2.75". Please measure your plates since all plates are not made equal. If the center portion of your bumpers are smaller than 8", then the decals may peel off easier since the sticker will overhang and there's more room for sticker to catch. (*Rep 45lb and 25lb bumpers do not have an 8" diameter center circle)
