Is this Christian Nationalism?

DR. MARSHALL HATCH: The kingdom of God has arrived in Jesus Christ, and ever since then, structures have been changing. Valleys have been exalted and mountains have been made low, and the glory of the Lord is being revealed, and all flesh will see it together. The kingdom is coming.

And the kingdom has arrived, all at the same time. Somebody says "structures." I'm talking about real structural change, by the power of the kingdom of God. Let me be [through?]. So it's lost on some of y'all maybe, but it's not lost on me, that what Wayne just mentioned, can you really believe it? That the nominee for the Supreme Court name is Ketanji. I didn't say "Karen."

Her mom and daddy named her Ketanji. And with a name like that, you're not supposed to rise that high, coz everybody looking at your resume know what side of the track you was born on. Know your parents were trying to escape some kind of slave legacy by putting something on your name that'd at least give you some identity, to show some place that you originated from.

Her name is Ketanji Brown Jackson. And in this case, Jackson ain't even a black name, because her husband is white. And he's named Jackson. That's coz he's an original American. Now, normally you only expect black people to have the name of the original Americans. Washington and Jackson and Jefferson and Smith and Jones, them are now black names. But somehow God found an original American and put Ketanji together. And her name is Ketanji Brown Jackson now see.

That don't mean nothing to some of y'all. She is now slated to be an interpreter on the Supreme Court of a Constitution that, when it was written, black women were simply slave breeders in the back of slave cabins. Had no agency over their body. No agency over their humanity. That they would have to drop a baby at nine o'clock and then go back and pick cotton at 11 o'clock. That they had no humanity. That among the record of those who have been degraded, that there was nothing lower than a black woman in that power dynamic.

But, oh! Look at God. God knows how to make the last first. God knows how to bring us up from the rear. God knows how to make a way out of no way. Yes, he does.
