Russian armoured convoy destroyed in ambush near Kyiv, Ukrainian soldiers claim

Ukrainian soldiers said they captured Russian tanks and destroyed an armoured convoy on Wednesday in the city of Brovary, near Kyiv.

One of the tanks, left behind by Russian forces, was confiscated, repaired and taken to use in the field, military personnel said.

According to the Ukrainian military staff on the scene, the Ukrainian forces lost 3 vehicles and 30 soldiers in the ambush, and said that a Russian colonel died in the attack.
