A lullaby song by the night sky for you

"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star "(from English — "Shine, shine, little star") is an English lullaby. Its text goes back to the poem "The Star", written at the beginning of the XIX century by the English poet Jane Taylor. The poem consists of couplets. It was first published in 1806 in a collection of poems by Jane and her sister Ann Taylor, which was called Rhymes for the Nursery. The poem is based on the melody of the French song " Ah! vous dirai-je, maman", first published in 1761 and arranged by many composers, including Mozart with his "Twelve Variations on" Ah vous dirai-je, Maman""[en] There are six stanzas in the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", although only the first one is widely known. The song is included in the" Road Folk Songs Index " at number 7666.

The song is in the public domain. It has many versions in different languages of the world.

The original English text is a poem by the English poet Jane Taylor (1783-1824). It was first published under the title "The Star" in the book Rhymes for the Nursery (London, 1806), which was a collection of poems by Jay and her sister Ann Taylor (1782-1866).
