Drone shows destroyed Russian military column in Ukraine's Sumy region

Video released by Ukrainian Ground Forces on Tuesday showed destroyed Russian vehicles in Sumy region.

Ukrainian servicemen were also seen inspecting captured boxes with ammunition loading them into a truck.

Sumy, Ukraine's northeastern city, was severely hit by Russian airstrikes. At least 21 civilians, including two children, were killed in a Russian airstrike on a residential street in Sumy late on Monday, the regional prosecutor's office said in a statement on Tuesday.

Nearly 3,500 civilians were evacuated from Sumy on Tuesday under a temporary ceasefire that mostly held, said regional governor Dmytro Zhyvytsky in a televised interview.

Around 1,700 of the evacuees were foreign students studying at universities in Sumy, he said, adding the ceasefire was broken once by a shooting near a checkpoint.
