The Firesign Theatre starts off the week with a bang with Elton John because we're in a weird mood and besides, we're not alone and as we learn, they're in everybody's eggs... Welcome to the Monday Segue City Special where we had a wonderful time at the beach weekend but we thought we saw Elvis there or maybe it might have been Jesus, you know, they kinda look the same in the sunlight... we'll have to be solid citizens tomorrow, yeah, that's the ticket...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
