Emotional ovation as Ukraine’s Zelenskyy tells MPs ‘we will fight in the skies & on the streets’

Ukraine's heroic President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today appealed directly to the hearts of British MPs for help defeating evil Putin.

In a Churchillian address to a packed Commons chamber from his Kyiv bunker, the leader vowed: "We will not give up, and we will not lose."

Boris Johnson led emotional MPs in an exceptionally rare standing ovation and applause following the rousing speech.

Echoing Britain's own wartime PM, President Zelenskyy said: "We will not give up, and we will not lose. We will fight to the end.

"On the sea, in the air. We will fight for our land whatever the cost. We will fight in the forests, in the fields, on the shores, in the streets."
