Seattle's 3rd Avenue Has Turned Into a 'Wild West' With Multiple Fatal Shootings

Seattle police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon. Officers responded to the area of Third Avenue and Pine Street for reports of a shooting at about 12:30 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Pine Street. Officers and Seattle Fire Department medics attempted lifesaving measures, but the man was declared deceased at the scene.

The victim was approximately 45 years old, according to SFD. Homicide detectives and members of the SPD crime scene investigation unit responded to the scene to collect and process evidence.
