American Oil

America is sitting on the most oil in the world. While I understand the idea of alternative energy, when there is a possibility of a catastrophic war idealism goes out the window and realism must be in fore front. It seems unimaginable that any public official sworn to defend the Constitution of the United State from threats both foreign and domestic would consider buying anything from Iran or Venezuela knowing they will be supporting regimes that hate the United States and its people. Especially when that person in office is the President of the United States and their cabinet.
