Oliver Stone does present some accurate history, though it is biased toward Putin’s perspective, and whitewash’s history to present Ukraine as a bad actor to be eliminated. History is seldom black and white as this film portrays. Remember too, that Stone has always admired Soviet communism, and view this film’s bias accordingly. Eastern Europe is a tough neighborhood still suffering the cultural affects of decades of life under the boot of communism.
