Can we relate now why do we have Confession? Why do we have to confess all our sins to the right person? Who is that person? What is the role of the priest inside the confessional? Let us read again our catechism, The role of the priest inside the confessional is to be Christ's representative or yes we say the priest acts like Our Lord Jesus Christ inside the confessional.
