Road captain/group riding. My thoughts

Being the leader or road captain of a group of motorcycles brings with it a certain amount of responsibility. You have to keep a lot of things in mind and safety is the most important. Riding in a group also brings a certain level of responsibility that riding solo doesn’t. In a group, you have to be honest in your assessment of your own skills because others in the group depend on you to not make any moves that will get others hurt.
