What an insane job. This E46 was brought to me without a lot of expectation really. We were not expecting it to be repaired much, if any. But, never the less, we gave it a shot.

So while it was at the shop getting some parts fixed, I took advantage of its extended stay and began Detailing it, then Correcting the Paint. I can tell you, right off the bat, I was NOT expecting much from this Paint Correction AT ALL. Mostly because I feared that the paint was cracked underneath all of that oxidation. After doing a test spot, my fears were confirmed. Cracked Steel Blue Paint. Which by the way, what an awesome color! Stahlblau is the paint name, also referred to as Steel Blue

THAT didn't stop me though. It came to a point where I said "Alright, lets cut this oxidation off, polish it, and coat it. That way it gets so glossy, the human eye will overlook the immense damage on the Roof, Hood, and Trunk. Whenever it came to refining the paint with Perfect Finish, it was then clear to me that my plan of action was something that could work! Especially once I applied the Drexler Ceramic Coating, the gloss was insane and definitely helped to overlook the main damage.

Definitely a Paint Correction Disaster. Absolutely destroy paint. Never had to work on something like this before. What a great learning experience!
