As the world’s largest country, Russia occupies one-tenth of all the land on Earth. It spans 11 time zones across two continents (Europe and Asia) and has shores on three oceans (the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic Ocean).

The Russian landscape varies from sandy and frozen deserts, tall mountains to giant marshes. Much of Russia is made up of rolling, treeless plains called “steppes”. The region of Siberia, which occupies three-quarters of Russia, is dominated by sprawling pine forests called “taigas”.

White House Press Secretary and resident clown, Jen Psaki, was just asked why we are continuing to purchase Russian oil and not raising oil production in the US.

Her answer, it's no big deal.

Reporter: As long as we're buying Russian oil, though, aren't we financing the war?

Psaki: Well, Jackie, again, it's only about 10% of what we're importing. I've not made any announcement about any decision on that front, but our objective and our focus is on making sure that any step we take maximizes the impact on President Putin and minimizes the impact on the American people.

As Russia Wages War, US Army Trains Officers on Gender Identity

Mandatory military training program pushes soldiers to undergo gender reassignment surgery

While Russia wages a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. Army is putting its soldiers through training on gender pronouns and coaching officers on when to offer soldiers gender transition surgery, according to an official military presentation on the subject obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The mandatory presentation, "Policy on the Military Service of Transgender Persons and Persons with Gender Dysphoria," was given to officers earlier this month along with instructions for them to train their subordinates on the material. Portions of the presentation were provided to the Free Beacon by a whistleblower who was ordered to undergo the training as a high-ranking officer in the Army Special Forces.
