This is statue of the mascot of the Big John Grocery Store Chain. The store's trademark or brand, if you will, appears to be a large statue of a man they call BIG JOHN. I have seen this statue before in Metropolis, IL (where the GIANT Superman Statue is located). I would imagine that this must be an Illinois grocery store chain. I have never seen this store in Kentucy.
