BIDEN'S FAILURES : The Border

This new year and the mid-term elections bring with them the opportunity to hold the President accountable for his failures and dereliction of duty to the American people.

One of those greatest failures was his failure at the border. Let's recap the border crisis:

- In fiscal year 2021, there were approximately 1.6 million encounters at the border, more than four times the previous year.

- Border encounters with unaccompanied children rose 30,557 in fiscal 2020 to 144,834 in fiscal 2021.

- Encounters with people traveling in families increased from 52,230 to 451,087.

- At least 650 migrants died crossing the US-Mexico border.

- In fiscal year 2021, Customs and Border Protection released 285,347 migrants with Notices to Appear (in court), a 2,000% increase in the number of illegal border crossers who were allowed to enter the U.S. More than 50,000 additional illegal aliens were simply released without NTAs under President Biden.

- The amount of people that successfully eluded capture quadrupled 100,000 in FY 2020 to about 400,000 in FY 2021.
