New MAPS debunk Muslims claims about Mecca!

Muslims have always claimed that Mecca was on the Trade route, both by land and by sea (via Jeddah). Dr Pratricia Crone debunked the land trade route back in 1987. We debunked the sea trade route in 2021.

Now new technology has come to our disposal which supports exactly what Dr Patricia Crone was trying to say back in 1987, that Mecca was not on the localized Western Arabian trade route, because it was down off that route, about 3,000 feet below it, and therefore impractical for caravans to descend that far, especially when it had little to no water, nor vegetation to support caravans.

When you look at the new topographical maps which are being provided today you can see clearly that the local Arabian trade route began in Aden in the south, and went up to San'a in Yemen, then to Najran in Arabia, then along the Western plateau to Ta'if, and from there, still on the plateau, to Yathrib, and from there on up to Khaybar, Tabuk, Petra, and then to Gaza on the Mediterranean Sea.

The Topographical maps clearly show us that Mecca is off that plateau, in fact a good 3,000 feet below Ta'if.

So, it would make no sense for the caravans from Yemen to come down the 3,000 feet to Mecca, especially since it had no water, which means no food as well, and then climb back up the 3,000 feet to get to Yathrib, when they could have gone directly there from Taif, a good day's camel trek at that time.

These topographical maps once again not only support Dr Patricia Crone but confront the 'Standard Islamic Narrative', which has always maintained that Mecca had to be on the Trade route in order for it to have any importance.

But if Mecca wasn't on that route, and thus had no importance, than how could the Kabah be there, how could Muhammad have been there, and how could the Qur'an have been derived from there? In one fell swoop Dr Crone has brought doubt historically to both Mecca, Muhammad, the Qur'an and therefore to Islam as well.
