The Acolyte Casting Confirms the Culture War Is Still Being LOST

Amandla Stenberg, per Deadline, has been cast in the lead role in Disney+'s The Acolyte, a Star Wars series run by Leslye Headland, former assistant to Harvey Weinstein. Some in the fandom thought goodwill had been built up and believed Kathleen Kennedy to be out (ha!); this casting of a person with political and ideological beliefs in line with that of Disney's woke agenda tells us the culture war is not being won. When people like Stenberg, Pedro Pascal, Krystina Arielle, Justina Ireland, and others are kept while Gina Carano is fired, it tells us all we need to know. Let's look at how Headland and others like to think they invented "diversity" and show how wrong they are in a short trip through some Star Wars history.
