1) Look For Spots Near Inlets, Cuts & Passes:

Spots on beaches near cuts, inlets, or passes tend to have a lot of shark traffic. Some of the biggest sharks during many shark tournaments have been caught on beaches like these. With Google Maps they are super easy to find.

2) Look For Spots Without Lots Of Sandbars

Sandbars can be your worst enemy. Not only can they mess and fray up your fishing line while your bait is just sitting there, but if you hook a big enough shark and you have a low tide, you may have trouble bring it in over the sandbar. At this point, you may have to enlist the use of a kayak when you are trying to release it.

3) Look For A Beach With Good Parking Nearby:

We've all done it - lugging our gear, for what seems like miles, to finally find the perfect spot and get settled. That's obviously not ideal, so use Google Maps to your advantage to find some street parking.
