Hollywood stars turn out for the Independent Spirit Awards

Maggie Gyllenhaal's "The Lost Daughter" won big at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, with the first-time director taking home the prizes for best director, best screenplay and best feature.
