Dreams of Flying

This was a video I used in my classroom for many years. It was unique at the time because it featured a Hispanic family with challenges to stereotypical roles; the girl wanted to be a mechanic, the boy wanted to be a nurse, the kids uncle was a nurse, the kids aunt was in business. But it also showed the hectic life of a school counselor, some peer pressure, etc. Students always balked at it in the beginning, but quickly got into it. Prepare yourself for "meeting" the girls boyfriend, however. LOL
