Ridgid 18V Battery Repair - Cell Replacement!

Hello folks, 🔋BattTube here. Today we will be replacing the 18650 battery cells in this Ridgid 18v Lithium-Ion Tool Battery. I decided to use some old "vape" type cells by EFest which i had around but it turned out to be a bad idea as the 18650 cells were more like 18.33650s and were to thicc to fit in the pack, With some external insulation, i left the cells unwrapped but still better protected then a normal 18650 wrapper. Spot Welded using the PCB spot welder i featured in the last video! Check both of those out below.
