Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane has said that India "is not averse" to the demilitarisation of the Siachen Glacier, on the condition that Pakistan accepts the Actual Ground Position Line (AGPL), dividing the two countries' positions.
Siachen is the highest battlefield of the world where Indian and Pakistani armies are deployed face to face and fighting since early 80s when Indian forces had first intruded into the area.
Pakistan Army, so far, has not responded to the statement of Indian Army Chief.
