The documentary Ukraine on Fire, produced by Oliver Stone, describes the background to the Maidan protests in Ukraine from 2013 to 2014 against the government of Viktor Yanukovych. Oliver Stone interviews him, Vladimir Putin and others. The central thesis of the film is that the events that led to Yanukovych's escape in 2014 were a coup d'état led by the CIA and The Nazi World Order.
