Visa and Mastercard have halted their operations in Russia.

EW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Visa and Mastercard, the world's largest card payment companies, said on Saturday (March 5) that they will cease operations in Russia, becoming the latest major US companies to do so in response to Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
Mastercard stated it had "chosen to halt our network services in Russia" due to the "unique nature of the current conflict and the unpredictable economic environment."
