49ers news alert: Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers have hired Brian Griese as the 49ers next quarterbacks coach. Griese is leaving ESPN’s Monday Night Football to take the job, per Adam Schefter and Seth Wickersham. There has been a lot of movement on head coach Kyle Shanahan’s coaching staff. Griese is the newest addition. Rich Scangarello was previously the 49ers QB coach, but left to become the offensive coordinator at Kentucky.
