Progressive Calisthenics, Leg Exercises. Air Squats

Here is a short video of Air Squats. Bodyweight squats are very important in Calisthenics training; especially progressive calisthenics, AKA building to a more challenging variation of a movement after mastering another.

Can you do 3 sets of 50 squats to parallel without a weight? Most people can’t and even some who squat a significant amount of iron. Give it a try, then once you get to that goal, change the range of motion. In this case I’m doing ATG squats, goal here is 3x30 with great form, not in a rush as I’m working towards quality of movement. Let’s do Calisthenics and let’s progress!
