I am working on a load of seascape studies which are a great way of getting more familiar with your subject. I will use these seascape studies as reference for larger paintings.

In this video I give you tips on painting ocean waves as I demonstrate painting two seascape studies. I painted the studies featured in this video on loose linen canvas mounted to a board. I also demonstrate how to attach the loose linen to the board with masking tape so it is taught and suitable to paint on.
