You're new to Intermittent Fasting and you are wondering what will break your fast and what will not? OK, here you go. The goals of fasting are to quiet inflammation, allow your liver and kidneys to detox, and to return your insulin level to low normal, if possible.

Some things you can drink will elevate your insulin level, effectively breaking your fast. Other things are fine to drink, and won't break your fast.

For example, many experts advise adding protein/collagen powder to your morning drink while you are fasting, but this will definitely break your fast. Watch and find out the other culprits. You will need a supply of Real Salt and electrolytes to maximize the effects of your fast.
